Rebate Opportunities:
The Victorian Government offers rebates of up to $3,000 under the (VEU) Victorian Energy Upgrades program for homes requiring heating and cooling improvements. This initiative helps reduce carbon emissions, save on electricity bills, and support local jobs. Depending on the specific upgrades, households can save between $120 and $1,100 annually on energy expenses.Additional Rebates: Up to $200 for decommissioning old heaters and $500 for upgrading switchboards to safely install split systems.
How to Qualify
Households can apply for rebates for installing a new reverse cycle split system in their main living area.Homes with gas-ducted heating can also apply if they need a split system installed in their main living area.Engage an approved supplier from the list provided by the Victorian Government.Schedule a site visit and installation with an approved contractor.
